CodeRED Emergency Notification Services

CodeRED gives the Sheriff’s Office the ability to deliver pre-recorded emergency telephone notification/information messages to targeted areas or the entire county.

Millard County Sheriff’s Office has contracted with Emergency Communications Network, Inc., of Ormond Beach, Florida, for its "CodeRED" high-speed telephone emergency notification services. The CodeRED system gives the Sheriff’s Office the ability to deliver pre-recorded emergency telephone notification/information messages to targeted areas or the entire county at a rate of up to 60,000 calls per hour. The CodeRED system was chosen after examining several other similar systems. The notification system could prove invaluable as a notification tool for such incidents as natural hazard or hazardous material evacuations, missing children, or other circumstances requiring timely notification in a given geographical area.

The Millard County Sheriff's Office recognizes and supports our troops in defending our country's freedoms. We especially want to recognize the National Guard 145th Field Artillery and wish them well over the next year as they deploy to Iraq.

Welcome to the Millard County Sheriff's Office web page! This is a relatively new method of communications. We invite you to watch the site grow. We intend to make this a site for citizens of Millard County to learn about and communicate with their Sheriff's Office. As this site grows, we expect you will be able to catch the latest press releases, learn of crime prevention opportunites, report crime tips or many other needs you may have. We want to be able to have you communicate with those that are here so we can best serve you.

Like much of the world, we are learning and hope in the future to provide for you most services that in the past may have required either a stop at the sheriff's office, a letter or telephone call. Our goal is to be more interactive with the people we serve.

We are proud of our office and our employees are here to serve you and have been trained to do the job asked of them. The law enforcement world is becoming more technologically advanced. We face new challenges as we deal with the many concerns we have in our communities. It is my goal to keep you better informed of our efforts in crime prevention and to provide you easier access to the Millard County Sheriff's Office.
